- Open a free Registered Guest account. You will be able to construct a family tree and have access to all free databases as well as the instructive material in the Support Centre. To open an account, click on "Subscribe" at the top right-hand corner of the home page and register for a free account on the first page you land on.
- Download and print Ancestry UK’s free assortment of charts and record-keeping forms. To find them, scroll to the bottom of the home page and look under the column labelled Family Trees.
