MEC Promo Codes & Discounts

How To Use a MEC Promo Code

1. Browse the MEC website to find your favorite outdoor gear, clothing, footwear, and accessories.
2. When you’re ready to make a purchase, click “Add to Cart” on your item’s product page.
3. Select “View Cart” in the next window or click the shopping cart in the top right corner of your screen.
4. Enter your MEC discount code in the “Discount code” section of the payment window.
5. Press “Apply” to activate your Jeulia coupon code.

What To Do if Your MEC Discount Code Isn’t Working

• Become a MEC member. Some deals are only offered to MEC members with active accounts, like the 20% off deal that’s offered when you purchase select items from around the site. Sign up and log in, especially if you’ve got a unique code sent to you by the company via email, as this email address is required to unlock the promo code.

• Meet the minimum. Nearly every past MEC coupon offer has a minimum purchase requirement attached to it, like the $20 voucher offered for purchases of $50 or more. Check your coupon code for the specific minimum you’ll need to meet in order to use it, and make sure your subtotal reaches this number after any other discounts are applied, and before taxes and shipping fees are added.

• Drop any excluded items from your cart. In addition to purchase requirements, there may be restrictions that apply to a particular coupon. Check your discount code for excluded brands you cannot use a promo code on. For example, the free in-store pickup offer that has since expired did not apply to brands like Patagonia and Hoka, so always check your cart to see if something there has stalled you at checkout.

• Pick up a new promo code. Coupons will always expire, so look for the expiration date on yours. If that deadline has come and gone, find a new coupon to add to your cart at CouponFollow.

Stacking MEC Coupons

According to our research, only one MEC promo code can be used at a time, so always use the best one at checkout. Check for the best MEC discount code by following the steps above, then remove your first code to try the next.

When Are the Best MEC Sales?

MEC typically offers discounts during gift-giving holidays. Look for deep discounts on items during the spring or winter, as this is when outdoor recreational gear, clothing, and footwear can change between seasons. Be sure to follow MEC on social media, check their Special Offers page, or subscribe to their newsletter to stay informed about when the holiday deals begin. Additionally, be sure to check CouponFollow to confirm you've received the best available discount.

Customers should be able to expect huge savings once again for the upcoming Black Friday 2026 sale. Based on previous years, we predict that they’ll offer 50% off outdoor gear and apparel, and potentially run partner promotions (like “Sock Week”, which offered up to 25% off Smartwool socks with $2 from each purchase going towards CPAWS). They even offered a free MEC Provincial Bike to MEC members who spent a minimum of $1,500 last year! We recommend subscribing to their email list so you don’t miss out on when these sales go live.

Best Way To Find a MEC Deal

Hands down, the best way to save the most at MEC is when you join the MEC Member Rewards customer loyalty rewards program. Membership is free and includes three levels of rewards and benefits based on your annual spending. When you join, you’ll get exclusive offers, early access to events and workshops, gifts, special discounts, and more. Most importantly, you’ll also qualify for MEC’s Rocksolid product guarantee and the 30-day price match. Additionally, your online account allows for fast checkout and easy order tracking.
