CouponFollow scraped 11,769 tweets and 1,774 Instagram posts containing words such as “coupon code,” “discount code,” and “code” to determine whose influencers offer the best deals. The tweets were pulled from over the last three years, and the Instagram posts were all pulled from 2023. When analyzing the monthly breakdowns, only the tweets were analyzed.
