If you love candles, soaps, lotions and pretty much anything that smells amazing (who doesn’t), you’re probably a Bath & Body Works fan. And right now, their semi-annual sale is happening, which means you can score products for up to 75% off (maybe more).
Sound like a deal you don’t want to miss? Here’s everything you need to know about shopping the Bath & Body Works semi-annual sale this summer and how to get the most savings possible.
The summer 2021 semi-annual sale started on June 14 and will run until July 12. Usually, the sale only takes place in stores. However, because of the pandemic, Bath & Body Works made its semi-annual sale available to online shoppers as well this year.
FYI: If you want to catch the winter sale too, that’s expected to take place right after Christmas and last well into January. Bath & Body Works will announce the exact dates when we get closer to that time. And don’t forget about Candle Day, which happens on the first Saturday in December.
Whether you want to stock up on wallflowers or your signature scent (hello, cucumber melon), you’ll be able to find steep discounts on all your favorites -- plus, more than 90 new summer products.

Keep in mind that new deals drop every day, and last until products sell out (which tends to happen pretty fast during this event). So if you see something you want, don’t let it linger in your cart.
Simply showing up to the semi-annual sale is a great way to save money on your top BBW picks. But if you want to shop smarter, not harder, try these tips for getting even more savings.
Share your contact info: Usually, it can be pretty annoying to get a bunch of marketing junk mail at home. But if you’re a die-hard BBW shopper, you’ll want to hand over your phone number and address so you can receive valuable coupons in the mail. Bonus: the more you shop, the better the deals they’ll send you.
Sign up for emails: Recipients of the Bath & Body Works emails get exclusive offers that aren’t available to the general public. Plus, they’ll let you know about special promotions like free shipping. Subscribe to stay in the know, and consider following them on social media so you don’t miss any updates.
Stack coupons: Usually, you can’t use multiple coupons for one transaction. Still, Bath & Body Works will let you add a coupon on top of already steeply discounted items. That can help you score even more than 75% off certain products. The exception is if you receive a mailer that includes a few coupons that are all attached together, in which case you can apply them all to your purchase (as long as there are no dupes).
Use a coupon code aggregator: If you prefer to shop online, you don’t have to spend precious time scouring the web for coupon codes. Use a browser extension that aggregates codes and automatically applies the best ones to your shopping cart, such as Cently. Keep in mind that Bath & Body Works only allows you to apply one discount code per online transaction. If you enter more than one, the last promo code you enter is the one that will be applied.
Bring in your expired coupons: Have a coupon that you didn’t get a chance to use? Most Bath & Body Works stores offer a three-day grace period on physical coupons. So if you have a great deal that just expired, they may still honor it. Just politely ask an employee at check-out.
Take advantage of the price-adjust policy: If you couldn’t wait for the semi-annual sale and picked up a few items a week or two ago -- only to find out they later went on sale -- you can ask to have the price adjusted. Bath & Body Works will provide a price adjustment on qualifying products within 14 days of the original purchase date. Note that price adjustments don’t apply to flash sales (which last 24 hours or less) or email offers. BBW also can’t price match online purchases against in-store pricing or promotions.
Join the loyalty program: Bath & Body Works now offers a customer loyalty program, which lets you earn points on purchases to redeem toward full-size products worth up to $16.50. You also gain access to exclusive deals, as well as a special welcome offer and birthday gift.
