For this study, we collected and analyzed search data from Google Trends to identify which cities search for holiday savings the most. Specifically, we looked at search volume across the 175 most populous U.S. cities for November and December from 2021 to 2024 for terms like, but not limited to, "coupon," "best coupon," "discount code," "promo code," and "coupon extension." All search data was collected on November 13th, 2025.
